Part of Global Business Industries, the Oracle Hospitality User Experience team is a group of passionate user specialists who design and build transformational products and experiences, translating human needs and behaviors into business impact on a large scale at Oracle.
Role Summary:
We are currently seeking a talented and innovative Senior User Experience Designer to join our UX design team. In this role, your primary focus will be on delivering optimal user experiences, playing a crucial part in our company's success and customer satisfaction. This position involves working closely with various internal teams, including product strategy, development, quality assurance, and accessibility, some of which are based internationally. In addition to design responsibilities, this role also includes mentoring and project leadership duties.
Responsibilities:
The Senior User Experience Designer is expected to proficiently carry out the following responsibilities:
Conduct thorough user-centered research, data analysis, and synthesis Develop wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, site maps, and prototypes to effectively convey interaction and design concepts as necessary Manage all visual design aspects from initial concept to final hand-off to engineering, including thorough documentation Adhere to established design systems in order to create cohesive solutions that meet both business and user requirements Deliver presentations and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and senior stakeholders Collaborate with product strategy and development teams to define, design, and implement innovative solutions for the product's direction, aesthetics, and overall user experience Blend creativity with a strong foundation in core UX design principles Stay informed about competitor products and industry trends in user experience design.Requirements:
The candidate should have:
Proven experience (6+ years) as a UX Designer with a strong portfolio of user-centered design projects Proficiency in design software (. Figma) Proficiency in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps Knowledge of html/css/js/ts is not a requirement but a strong plus to understanding technology feasibility Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development processCareer Level - IC3
As a member of the User Experience team, you will develop and apply software design/usability processes in the investigation of technical problems. May develop user profiles, with emphasis on human error control, display issues, visual interaction, physical manipulation and task and objective analyses. Provide product usability, evaluation and support to product development teams, including the analysis and investigation of applications/systems including tactile methods, visual graphics, web, multimedia, voice response and conversational user interaction. May assist in developing design concept and implementation, providing input on user design considerations. May produce specifications describing user needs and internal structures for product in development.
