Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Specialist to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading multidisciplinary teams, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

  • Leadership and Teamwork: Provide leadership and direction to ICU staff, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and collaboration among team members.\
  • Patient Care: Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, prioritizing complex needs and addressing urgent situations promptly.\
  • Education and Training: Deliver educational programs and workshops for healthcare professionals, focusing on critical care skills and best practices.\
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement and contributing to process improvements.\
  • Research and Innovation: Engage in research activities, exploring new technologies, treatments, and methodologies to improve patient outcomes.\
  • Professional Development: Pursue ongoing education and professional development opportunities, staying current with advancements in critical care medicine.\
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, utilizing empathetic and culturally sensitive approaches.\
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records, adhering to regulatory requirements and hospital policies.\
  • Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with other departments, including surgery, neurology, nephrology, and radiology.\
  • Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in response to changing circumstances, prioritizing patient needs and safety.\\Qualifications and Skills:\

    • MD or MBBS degree with specialization in Anaesthesia, General Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.\
    • DM or DNB Critical Care or Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine.\
    • Valid registration with the State/National Medical Council.\
    • Additional certifications in BLS, ACLS, ATLS, and experience managing Level 2/3 ICUs are desirable.\
    • Familiarity with ICU software, ventilators, EMRs, and monitors is essential.\\Competencies:\
