The Role and Opportunity

You will lead the finance team in Wella India, supporting the leadership team with key business initiatives, financial information, and operational analytics.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will drive growth and profitability by implementing controls and client credit management procedures.

You will provide financial acumen and strategic recommendations to enhance financial performance and help General Managers run their operations as 'businesses', generating adequate returns per business plan.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing financial analysis of proposed new items, programs, and licenses for go/no-go decisions support
  • Driving local analysis at brand level (e.g., P&L by brand, market share)
  • Coordinating with local marketing to build local launch models
  • Ensuring proper allocation of spending across brands and cost buckets
