Job Description: Associate Director / Director - VAPT

Position: Associate Director / Director - VAPT

Experience: 12+ Years

Location: Mumbai (Work From Office)

Key Responsibilities1. Vulnerability Assessment

- Expertise in VA tools such as Tenable, Qualys, Nessus.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and operating systems (Linux, Windows).
- Experience with network device scanning, perimeter systems, and internal systems.
- Proficient in utilizing CVE databases and adhering to security standards.

2. Penetration Testing

- Proficiency with PT tools like Metasploit, Burp Suite, and Nmap.
- Knowledge of system and network exploitation techniques.
- In-depth understanding of OWASP Top 10 and SANS 25 vulnerabilities.
- Strong communication skills for presenting findings and risk mitigation strategies.

3. Security Analysis

- Experience in vulnerability management and remediation.
- Strong analytical and collaboration skills for prioritizing vulnerabilities.
- Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

4. Threat Intelligence & Impact Assessment

- Expertise in threat intelligence tools.
- Knowledge of vulnerability assessment and impact analysis techniques.
- Experience with the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
- Strong analytical and communication skills for effective threat evaluation.

5. Quality Assurance

- Expertise in QA processes for security assessments.
- Experience with defining and measuring security quality metrics.
- Proficiency in project management and reporting tools.

6. Compliance

- Expertise in compliance frameworks such as PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and NIST.
- Experience in automating compliance reporting.
- Proficiency with system tracking tools and compliance assessments.

7. Hardening Guidelines

- Expertise in system hardening standards (CIS Benchmarks, NIST).
- Knowledge of OS hardening (Windows, Linux) and network device configuration.
- Experience in conducting configuration reviews and audits.

8. Security Product Configuration

- Proficiency in configuring and reviewing security products such as firewalls, IPS, IDS, SIEM, and DLP.
- Knowledge of network security and application security standards.
- Adherence to security best practices (ISO 27001, NIST).

9. Enterprise Operational Security

- Strong understanding of enterprise security policies and standards (ISO 27001, NIST).
- Expertise in managing enterprise security systems (firewalls, SIEM, DLP).
- Experience in policy review and security architecture design.

10. Legal and Compliance

- Expertise in legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, IT Act).
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks and impact analysis.
- Experience in operational security policy design and review.

11. Security Policy & Process

- Expertise in security governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC).
- Experience with designing and maintaining security policies.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity regulations and industry standards (ISO 27001, COBIT).

Required Certifications

- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

Relevant Experience

- Hands-on experience in technical compliance assessment and regulatory compliance.
- Proven expertise in the assessment, design, and implementation of security measures.
- Proficiency in managing and maintaining secure enterprise operations.
- Experience leading teams and managing large-scale VAPT projects.

- Note: Candidates should have strong leadership, communication, project management, and analytical skills, along with a proven ability to drive security strategies and execute VAPT projects effectively at the organizational level.
