Job Summary

The primary function of this role is to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of machinery used in nutraceutical manufacturing.

This involves setting up, calibrating, and adjusting machines to guarantee accurate and timely production outputs.

Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting routine equipment checks to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operations.

  • Set up, calibrate, and adjust machines as per established standards.
  • Conduct regular equipment checks to identify potential issues and implement preventive measures.
  • Maintain product quality standards during machine operations.
  • Record machine operating data, production outputs, and downtime logs accurately.
Key Responsibilities

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and maintaining the performance of machinery used in nutraceutical manufacturing.
  • Ensuring that all machinery is properly calibrated and adjusted to meet production requirements.
  • Identifying and addressing any issues that may impact production efficiency or product quality.
  • Collaborating with the engineering team to support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • At least 2-4 years of experience in machinery operations within a nutraceutical, food manufacturing, or pharmaceutical environment.
  • Hands-on experience with blending, granulation, encapsulation, filling, or packaging machines.
  • A strong understanding of mechanical/electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills

While not essential, having the following skills would be beneficial:

  • Diploma/Degree in Food Technology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
  • Certification in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or ISO 22000.
  • Experience in supporting product development or scale-up trials.
