Infrastructure Service Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Service Manager to lead our team in delivering high-quality infrastructure shared services. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery of infrastructure components, including network, servers, storage, databases, and other IT infrastructure components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service Delivery Management: Manage the delivery of infrastructure shared services, ensuring that services meet agreed-upon performance metrics and adhere to industry best practices and organizational standards.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of infrastructure professionals, including system administrators, network engineers, and support staff, to ensure clear objectives, guidance, and regular performance evaluations.
- SLA Compliance: Monitor and enforce adherence to SLAs, proactively addressing any deviations, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions to maintain high service levels.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including business units, project managers, and IT leadership, to understand their infrastructure requirements and align service delivery accordingly.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction, identifying opportunities for process optimization, automation, and cost reduction.
- Risk and Issue Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact service delivery, developing contingency plans and escalating critical incidents as needed.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and external service providers to ensure seamless integration and delivery of outsourced infrastructure services, monitoring vendor performance and negotiating contracts.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular reports and metrics related to service delivery, SLA performance, resource utilization, and operational efficiency, maintaining accurate documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership skills and experience in managing teams and projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure management principles, including service delivery, team management, and vendor management.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
