Job Title: Risk Policy Manager

The role involves formulating and implementing policy, procedures & guidelines for credit appraisal, credit risk models and frameworks. This includes interacting with cross-functional teams to drive the credit policy agenda and ensuring correct implementation of credit policy guidelines in origination systems and decisioning platforms.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining a robust Credit Analytic Framework to identify early warning signals, credit risk process inputs and customer segment-wise risk factors.
  • Analyzing market trends / practices and benchmarking policies with the market.
  • Managing Rule engine for credit decisions.
  • Portfolio monitoring, trigger reviews & delinquency control.
  • Identifying and implementing system and process improvements to ensure accurate data is available to support high-quality analysis.
  • Driving portfolio management initiatives through the credit cycle management framework by working in partnership with product managers, credit approval team, credit operations team and collection team.
  • Reviewing and up-keep of BRE rules, scorecards, STP journeys and other digital initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in Policy / Portfolio monitoring role in Personal Loan.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends / practices and benchmark policies.
  • Experience in Business Rule Engine rule creation and testing.
