  • Job Overview

    As a Practice Lead, you will be responsible for managing multiple client engagements and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality projects. This role requires strong leadership and project management skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively.

  • Key Responsibilities

    • Leadership and Delivery Management: Provide strategic direction and oversee the delivery of projects across various clients. Ensure that all projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients.
    • Prioritize Accounts and Customer Value: Analyze business needs and develop strategies to deliver maximum value to clients. Prioritize accounts based on their strategic importance and urgency.
    • Resource Allocation: Allocate necessary resources (e.g., personnel, technology) efficiently across the portfolio to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
    • Portfolio Performance Metrics and Analysis: Develop and implement effective metrics to measure the success and impact of projects within the portfolio.
    • Optimize Resource Utilization: Monitor resource usage to avoid overallocation or underutilization, ensuring optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
    • Project Progress Tracking: Regularly review the status of ongoing projects to ensure they are on track with their timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
    • Report Generation: Provide detailed reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and any necessary adjustments.
    • Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks that could impact the portfolio, such as resource constraints, technical challenges, or market changes. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks, ensuring minimal disruption to project execution.
    • Stakeholder Engagement: Establish effective communication frameworks with all stakeholders. Manage expectations by ensuring stakeholders are informed about project statuses, potential risks, and any changes to the portfolio.
    • Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance and governance around service level and contractual obligations.
    • Financial Planning and Budgeting: Develop forward-looking financial plans and budgets at the project/portfolio level. Review revenue projections, staffing capacity, and other key internal stakeholders periodically.
    • Delivery Team Performance: Monitor delivery teams' performance scorecards regularly. Implement best practices and standards across services. Work with delivery managers to identify and implement process improvements to drive overall delivery excellence, cost reduction, and efficiency gains.

  • Requirements

    • Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Relevant industry certifications and experience in project management, leadership, and stakeholder engagement.
    • Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
