Manual QA Tester

We are seeking a skilled Manual QA Tester to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

This role will focus on functional and regression testing across various platforms, ensuring seamless user experiences.

  • Perform manual functional testing of web and mobile applications, identifying defects and issues promptly.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test cases, test plans, and test scenarios aligned with project requirements.
  • Validate bug fixes, track issues in the tracking system, and ensure they are resolved efficiently.
  • Conduct regression testing to guarantee existing functionality remains stable and robust.
  • Collaborate with development teams and product owners to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria, fostering effective communication.
  • Ensure that defects are reported clearly, including steps to reproduce and an impact analysis, facilitating swift issue resolution.

Performance Metrics:

  • Defect Detection Rate: ≥ 95% of critical issues identified before release, reflecting exceptional quality assurance.
  • Defect Leakage: ≤ 5% of high-severity issues reported post-release, demonstrating rigorous testing practices.
  • Test Coverage: ≥ 90% of functional requirements validated per sprint, showcasing thorough testing capabilities.
  • Bug Closure Rate: ≥ 90% of reported bugs resolved within committed sprint, highlighting efficient issue resolution.

Requirements:

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of experience in manual QA testing for SaaS or enterprise platforms, delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong understanding of functional, regression, and exploratory testing methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools, streamlining issue management.
  • Ability to write clear and structured test cases, ensuring effective testing strategies.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills, facilitating collaboration and knowledge sharing.
