Role: QA Analyst - DevSecOps

This role requires a skilled professional with 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance processes within the DevSecOps department.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test plans for application interfaces and operations to ensure seamless functionality.
  • Maintain Sonar Cloud quality gates and monitor code quality metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Track defects from QA findings and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues promptly.
  • Conduct release readiness reviews and validate quality criteria prior to deployment to guarantee high-quality deliverables.
  • Prepare and maintain audit artifacts for compliance and internal/external reviews, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
Vulnerability & Security:
  • Perform vulnerability scanning and reporting using tools such as Sonar Cloud and Visual Studio to identify potential security risks.
  • Support audit readiness and escalate unresolved blockers to ensure timely resolution and minimize business impact.
Collaboration & Support:
  • Participate in weekly QA reviews and collaborate with Dev Leads, Ops, and Service teams to foster a culture of collaboration and open communication.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for QA-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
Reporting & Documentation:
  • Maintain and update system documentation and QA procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Prepare weekly status reports detailing progress, testing tasks, and artifact collection to facilitate informed decision-making.
Additional Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Ensure smooth operation and integration of QA processes within DevSecOps to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support release and deployment coordination for enhancements and integrations to ensure timely delivery and minimize disruption.
  • Provide training and support to team members on QA tools and processes to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards to maintain a culture of integrity and accountability.
Core Competencies:
  • Proven experience in QA methodologies, test planning, and defect tracking to drive quality and efficiency.
  • Knowledge of static code analysis, and vulnerability scanning (e.g. Sonar Cloud) to identify potential security risks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships and foster collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus to demonstrate expertise and commitment to the field.
