Lighting Design Professional

We are seeking skilled professionals to fill the role of Lighting BIM Architect with our team. As a key member, you will work closely with architects and engineers on various lighting design projects.

About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who can help us deliver high-quality lighting designs from concept to completion. The successful candidate will have excellent technical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional results.

  • BIM Modeling: Set up new Revit projects, create custom lighting fixture families, manage models in BIM 360 and Autodesk Docs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Quality Checks: Review BIM work, ensure all models meet project standards, establish quality check processes, and maintain high-quality deliverables.
  • Lighting Design: Develop comprehensive lighting designs from concept to detailed documentation, accurately detailing lighting models to meet project requirements and industry standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with different teams to integrate lighting into building designs, share knowledge on best practices, and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Documentation: Prepare drawings, reports, and specifications for lighting projects, provide regular updates, and maintain effective communication with project managers or clients.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a BIM Engineer, preferably in lighting design.
  • Certifications: Extra certifications in BIM or lighting design are a bonus.
  • Technical Skills: Good knowledge of BIM 360, Revit, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Docs.
  • Lights Design Principles: Understanding of lighting design principles.
  • Quality Assurance: Experience with quality checks in BIM workflows.
  • Communication & Teamwork: Strong communication and teamwork skills.
