System Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and driven specialist to join our team. This is a hands-on role that sits at the heart of our business operations, supporting our bespoke systems across key areas.

  • Able to work effectively in a high-pressure environment with multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to investigate and determine root causes of recurring system issues.
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceDesk Plus or similar.

As a System Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Acting as a front-line responder, resolving incidents and service requests raised by users.
  • Taking full ownership of assigned incidents, problems, and service requests, ensuring timely acknowledgment, regular updates, and resolution within SLA targets.
  • Escalating issues when required and collaborating with the support lead to ensure prompt and effective resolution.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience working with and documenting bespoke business applications.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering training to stakeholders and end users.
  • Strong communication skills with a user-focused approach.
  • A proactive, resilient mindset and a commitment to maintaining high-quality support and documentation.
