Job Description

The Innovation and Automation team is responsible for designing, building, and deploying custom automation and analytic solutions. This role requires a candidate with a learning mindset, strong background in data analytics, and aptitude for translating business needs into technical requirements.

In this role, you will be responsible to learn and understand the business, become a subject matter expert on the data, and build cutting-edge analytics that provide actionable insights on known value streams while discovering opportunities for further analysis.

  • Engage with business partners to understand analytic and data gaps and facilitate working sessions to design and prototype data integration solutions and automation.
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements and translate technical results into meaningful information for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Write complex SQL queries to extract, filter, and aggregate data from different relational databases.
  • Develop and implement data quality checks and validation procedures to identify and address data inconsistencies.
  • Design, implement, and optimize ETL processes using Python libraries to extract data from multiple sources, transform it as needed, and load it into data warehouses.
  • Pioneer new technologies and methodologies for automation and data analysis.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Must have 5-8 years experience with the following technology skillsets:

  • Relational database management.
  • Complex SQL query writing.
  • Python library usage for data extraction and analysis.
  • API programming experience.
  • Data mining and database exploration.
  • Communication and influence skills.
  • Data visualization using any tool or technology.
