Job Title: Data Validation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Validation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our data analytics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data pipelines and warehouses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL workflows.
  • Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading procedures across staging, DWH, and DataMart layers.
  • Perform data reconciliation, row count checks, and column-level validations between source and target systems.
Collaboration and Documentation:

You will work closely with ETL developers, data engineers, and business analysts to understand transformation logic and business rules.

Maintain documentation in tools like JIRA and HP ALM, and create traceability matrices and defect logs.

Automation and Optimization:

Automate repetitive testing tasks using scripting languages such as Python or Shell.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical skills: SQL expertise, Joins, subqueries, analytical functions, and performance tuning.
  • ETL tools: Informatica, Talend, SSIS.
  • Database platforms: Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, PostgreSQLOperating systems: Windows, Unix, Linux.
  • Scripting: Shell scripting, Python preferred.
  • Tosca Data Integrity (DI) Testing.
  • Data Automation.
  • API/Microservices Rest Assured Testing.
  • AWS Cloud data Testing.
  • Azure Cloud data Testing.
  • BI Reports/Data Visualization Testing.
  • Cloud migration and Platform modernization Testing.
  • ETL/Datawarehouse testing.
  • SQL & Database testing.
  • Python Data Automation Testing.
  • Selenium-Java Testing.
