At Schbang, we're seeking an exceptional Creative Visionary to lead our design team. This is a high-profile role that demands creativity, vision, and leadership skills.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6+ years of experience in an agency setting, with expertise in multi-disciplinary design including graphic design, motion graphics, production, editorial design, branding, packaging, etc.

In this role, you'll collaborate closely with clients and account managers to understand their business objectives and requirements. You'll develop concepts that meet their needs, think creatively to produce new ideas, and articulate these ideas to the design team, creative team, and clients.

You'll be responsible for creating and maintaining brand guidelines, staying up-to-date with emerging technologies, and keeping aware of current trends in visual arts. A strong understanding of visual hierarchy, grid systems, and typography is essential.

We're looking for someone who can empower junior designers through workshops and training sessions. If you have advanced knowledge of Digital and print graphics, effective time management and project management skills, and strong client servicing skills, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop design briefs by gathering information and data through research.
  • Create designs, concepts, and layouts based on knowledge of visual hierarchy, grid systems, and typography.
  • Collaborate with clients or account managers to discuss business objectives and requirements.
  • Interpret clients' business needs and develop concepts to suit their purpose.
  • Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts.
  • Articulate ideas and concepts to the design team, the creative team, and clients.
  • Provide feedback to the team and encourage and guide junior team members to do their best work.
  • Create and maintain brand guidelines for multiple brands and design distinctive visual tonality for these brands.
  • Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies in design and advertising.
  • Responsible to stay aware of current and upcoming trends in the visual arts.

Requirements:

  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Must have multi-disciplinary design skills – have a basic understanding of production (including pre-production and post-production), 3D graphics, motion graphics, web, and UI/UX.
  • Must have advanced knowledge of Digital and print graphics.
  • Effective time management and project management skills.
  • Efficiently managing day-to-day design requirements.
  • Ability to provide creative direction and feedback to the design team.
  • Strong client servicing skills with the ability to understand clients' business needs.
  • Ability to develop and implement design standards and processes to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects.
  • Ability to create and maintain brand guidelines for multiple brands and design distinctive visual tonality for these brands.
  • Ability to create training sessions for junior team members.
