As a Software Packaging Expert, you will play a critical role in our organization's success by designing and implementing efficient software packaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of software packaging tools and technologies, including .NET, .BAT, .VBS, WSE, SQL Server, APPV, MSIX, Numecent, and similar scripting and database tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software packaging needs and develop strategic plans to meet those needs
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated scripts and processes to streamline software packaging workflows
  • Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure packaged software meets organizational standards and requirements
  • Provide exceptional support and training to end-users and technical teams on software packaging best practices and solutions

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in software packaging, application development, and deployment within physical and virtual environments
  • Expertise in automation scripts, orchestration, and automation processes and products, including PowerShell, Ansible, DSC, Python, or YAML
  • Familiarity with IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL and IRM
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud-based platforms, including Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of SAFe Agile framework and project coordination principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Operating Systems (desktop and server) and Windows troubleshooting skills
