About the Role:
We are developing advanced AI tools in collaboration with IISc faculty and industry partners. As a Senior Developer, you will guide project development, mentor junior team members, and ensure our codebase adheres to best practices. This role is suitable for individuals who have a strong research orientation and are interested in contributing to impactful technology-driven solutions while taking a break from traditional corporate roles. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement for approximately 20-30 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and guide a team of developers, providing technical and strategic oversight.
• Review and enhance code quality, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and standards.
• Collaborate with faculty, industry partners, and internal teams to define project requirements and milestones.
• Drive R&D-oriented initiatives and support the development of novel AI-based solutions.
• Mentor junior developers in problem-solving, technical decision-making, and professional growth.
Qualifications:
• 2-5 years of professional experience in a multinational corporate setting.
• Demonstrated experience working on projects with a strong R&D focus, including impactful publications or contributions to open-source initiatives.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams, review code, and implement best practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
