Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Automated Test Equipment (ATE) to join our team as a Manufacturing Test Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ATE platforms, manufacturing test flows, and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement manufacturing test flows and methodologies for ASIC/SoC to meet customer and quality requirements
  • Expertise in one of the ATE platforms like Teradyne ETS800 / ETS88 / ETS364 is mandatory. Understanding of statistical analysis of test data will be an added advantage
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to finalize manufacturing test requirements for each test phase, including pass/fail criteria for products
  • Drive new product migration from R&D to High Volume Manufacturing Phase, support technical issues, and coordinate with cross-functional teams
  • Monitor product yield, test time, and DPPM. Provide technical solutions for yield improvement, TTR, and DPPM reduction, and develop detailed plans for implementation
  • Collaborate with team members to adapt to changing product deliverables
  • Represent the Product Engineering function in various technical and functional forums
  • Work with teams across different time zones, if required
  • Define product DFT and test requirements pre-PG, including translating PRD/MRDs into PTS/SCMs/PRPs for ATE test-plan definition
  • Post-Si bring-up and validation of all functional and test features, requiring extensive debug skills and knowledge of IC design and semiconductor physics
  • Execute design-of-experiments with process window corner lots to establish spec compliance across full wafer-fab process windows
  • Execute qualification cycles for Si and package to automotive, industrial, and commercial standards based on primary product market requirements
  • During these stages of Post-Silicon validation, interact with cross-functional teams such as Design, DfT, Design Validation, Program Management, QRE/CQE, and Bench Characterization and Apps development teams
  • Required Qualifications and Skills:
    • Work experience or university project experience in Electronics and/or Semiconductors
    • Hands-on experience with lab equipment, including testers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and logic analyzers
    • Knowledge of IC test methodologies, system testing, and communication protocols such as USB, UART, PCIe, I2C, I2S, DDR, etc.
    • Proficiency in software programs written in C, C++, C#, and ability to step through code when needed
    • Comfortable working with Windows and Linux operating systems
    • Ability to analyze complex problems with minimal data points
    • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
    • Proven ability to achieve results in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
    • Self-motivated and self-directed, with demonstrated ability to work well with people
    • A proven desire to work as a team member, both within the team and outside of it
