Job Title: Backend API Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend API Developer to play a vital role in designing, developing, and maintaining front-end API frameworks.

  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining APIs using designated programming languages, focusing on clean architecture, modularized programming, and relevant standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between internal/external systems and the Azure cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop secure, scalable, and efficient REST APIs to expose endpoints for data extraction from Azure storage layers.
  • Implement authentication and authorization of external data providers and consumers, optimizing API performance and security.
  • Integrate authentication via OAuth/Entra ID, and design API Gateway using Azure APIM, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Hands-on experience in implementing API security, load balancing, and caching strategies, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
Technical Skills:
  • Expert-level coding skills in RESTful API development in .Net, implementing best practices and relevant standards.
  • Develop integration pipelines to push/pull data from Azure Blob Storage, Microsoft Fabric, and other sources, ensuring data security and compliance.
  • Proficiency in API versioning, throttling, routing, and caching strategies, with hands-on experience in Azure APIM and Swagger for API documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards, including encryption, masking, and role-based access, throughout the API development lifecycle.
  • Build CI/CD pipelines and containerized applications for secure deployment on Azure, ensuring code quality and API functionality.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in developing RESTful APIs in .Net.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services, including Azure Blob Storage, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure APIM.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
