Job Title

A Data Quality Engineer is required to play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our data pipelines, analytics platforms, and reporting systems.

About the Role

This role will involve automating testing for data pipelines and ETL workflows in Snowflake, validating data models, transformations, and aggregations for accuracy, building reconciliation tests between source systems and Snowflake, and testing and verifying dashboards, reports, and analytics in ThoughtSpot.

The ideal candidate will bring a mix of software engineering, data testing, and automation skills, with a passion for building robust frameworks that support both application-level testing and data validation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Automate testing for data pipelines and ETL workflows in Snowflake using C# and other tools.
  • Validate data models, transformations, and aggregations for accuracy and ensure metrics and KPIs in BI tools align with data definitions.
  • Build reconciliation tests between source systems and Snowflake to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Test and verify dashboards, reports, and analytics in ThoughtSpot to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Candidate must have 5+ years' experience in Testing and SDET/ Test Engineer roles.
  • Experience with Snowflake (SQL queries, stored procedures, schema validation) and ThoughtSpot or similar BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
  • Strong knowledge of Page Object Model (POM) for UI automation and controller-based design for API testing.
  • Experience embedding test automation into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
