Revenue Accounting Expertise

We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Accountant / Revenue Recognition Analyst to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site role that requires expertise in managing end-to-end revenue accounting processes, ensuring accurate and timely recognition in compliance with ASC 606 / IFRS 15.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and manage revenue accounting processes from start to finish.
  • Review customer contracts and agreements to determine appropriate revenue treatment.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Legal, and Finance teams to assess deal structures and ensure alignment with revenue recognition policies.
  • Prepare and maintain revenue schedules, journal entries, and reconciliations for month-end and quarter-end close.
  • Analyze deferred revenue, billing schedules, and revenue forecasts to support financial reporting and audit readiness.
  • Partner with IT and finance systems teams to enhance automation and reporting capabilities related to revenue.
  • Support external audits and internal controls by providing documentation and insights into revenue processes.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in revenue accounting or revenue recognition.
  • CPA or CA qualification.
  • Strong understanding of ASC 606 / IFRS 15 and practical application in complex contract scenarios.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, reconciliations).
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with finance, legal, and sales teams.
