Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable, efficient, and reliable backend systems using Nodejs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality backend systems using Nodejs
  • Work closely with the front-end team to ensure seamless integration of backend services
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure quality and reliability
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of microservices architecture

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 10+ years of total experience in software development
  • Hands-on experience in Nodejs, JavaScript, and databases
  • Strong expertise in TypeScript and microservices architecture
  • Hands-on experience in automation testing using Playwright, Cucumber, Appium, or Selenium
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful API development with Nodejs
  • Practical experience with GraphQL
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and troubleshooting distributed systems
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization concepts
  • Exposure to API Gateway integrations (e.g., 3Scale)
  • Understanding of authentication mechanisms (SSO, JWT, OAuth)
  • Expertise in message task queues (AWS, Azure, Pushpin, or Kafka)
