Job Opportunity: Technical Support Specialist

 

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Access Control and CCTV systems software, as well as all backend hardware.

 

The ideal candidate will provide technical product support, configuration support for Access Control and CCTV systems, diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues pertaining to these systems and other CSI applications. They will also provide remote support to internal clients on system configuration, identify and analyze system failures and provide support to onsite techs for break-fix, track system issues through to resolution within agreed time limits and escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure security system applications on servers
  • Provide 24x7 monitoring of application services hosted on servers
  • Escalate unresolved issues to internal teams
  • Respond timely and professionally to emergency service calls during office hours and off-hours

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electronics/Computer Science or equivalent qualification
  • Knowledge of Access Control and CCTV systems
  • Experience in installation and maintenance of these systems
  • Proficiency in CCURE 9000 and CCURE GO software and all related hardware as well as enterprise CCTV systems like Intellicene (Cognyte/Verint), Symphia VMS, Genetec video solutions
  • Windows Server Operating Systems and SQL database management skills
  • Powershell programming skills
