This position will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and monitoring our IT infrastructure, including Azure, AWS, and Hyper-V Server environments.

About the Role:

  • Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure components to meet business needs
  • Administer and manage user support tickets, ensuring timely resolutions and high levels of user satisfaction
  • Configure and deploy Active Directory services, including Domain Controllers and Group Policy Administration
  • Collaborate with the IT Security team to implement security best practices and controls
  • Manage regular backups and disaster recovery strategies to ensure business continuity
  • Document infrastructure services, including asset inventory and software/hardware design and implementation
  • Generate reports on server performance, security, and compliance metrics
  • Identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to streamline system administration tasks

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in system administration, with focus on Windows Server environments
  • MCSE or equivalent certification
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to take calculated risks and adapt to changing business needs

Preferred Skills:

  • AZ-104T00-A: Microsoft Azure Administrator Certification
  • Experience with NIST Cybersecurity Framework 1.1 and NYDFS 500.03
  • Familiarity with IT service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Desk)
