Mechanical Colocation Data Center Operations Specialist

This role is responsible for the operation and maintenance of data centers, ensuring they are running efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have experience with industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Review design inputs, submittals, and AWS product specifications to ensure compliance with AWS expectations.
- Act as a resident engineer during new colo construction projects, supporting construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Troubleshoot site/equipment failures, conduct root cause analysis, and create corrective action documentation.
- Provide technical support to the design for existing data center upgrades and design-solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 6+ cumulative years of experience with industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities.
- Experience using web-based and other software tools for calculation and data processing.
