We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This role will involve working on the design, construction, and operation of mission-critical facilities, specifically data centers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and experience with industrial or commercial engineering in Mission Critical facilities. They will also be able to read, interpret, and create construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents.
About the RoleThis position is responsible for:
- Working with colo vendors to review the design for new Data Centers, including design input, submittal review, and incorporating AWS products to ensure the design meets expectations.
- Acting as resident engineer during new colo construction projects, supporting construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Troubleshooting, conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and creating Corrective Action (CA) documentation for site/equipment failures.
- Directly supporting operational issues with ad-hoc training, complex operating procedure reviews, and event support.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years with industrial or commercial engineering in Mission Critical facilities, including but not limited to: data centers, power generation, oil/gas facilities.
- Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents.
