Job Title: Intellectual Property Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting patent applications for inventions in information and communication technologies, delivering prosecution projects, and training team members on technical areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft patent applications for inventions in information and communication technologies.
  • Deliver prosecution projects, formulating response strategies and drafting responses to office actions.
  • Create provisional specifications and patent applications with well-crafted claims, adhering to US and EP patent standards.
  • Train team members on technical areas.
  • Mentor team members on technology areas, providing guidance on drafting and prosecution work.
  • Apply process knowledge to produce high-quality results.
  • Perform multiple tasks independently, creating processes for client deliverables and talent development.
  • Analyze problems using available tools and provide recommendations to enhance team performance.
  • Participate in the hiring process, preparing test papers and evaluating candidates.
  • Lead team members in specialized technical assignments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or technology from a reputable institution.
  • Excellent domain knowledge in ICT (Information and Communication Technologies).
  • At least 4 years of experience in patent drafting and/or prosecution, with 2+ years in patent drafting for US jurisdiction.

Experience in drafting over 50 patent applications for the US domain is preferred.
