Cyber Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Advisor to join our team at FedEx. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the consistent security of our enterprise systems and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure consistent state across the enterprise by supporting business and Service Provider activities encompassing endpoint security, network security, perimeter security, and data security.
- Lead close collaboration with business and Service Provider representatives to provide both preventative and proactive support, thereby fortifying the security infrastructure.
- Review requested security policy changes to in-scope security infrastructure, provide recommendations to management for approval and implementation using internal job aids.
- Develop and implement enterprise security solutions to mitigate information systems risks and vulnerabilities, configuring and analyzing security tools and software.
- Lead incident response activities as needed, assisting in the prompt resolution and mitigation of security incidents.
- Manage and review technical and operational documentation of in-scope security systems to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity.
- Research attempted or successful efforts to compromise systems security and designs countermeasures.
- Assess and monitor in-scope security infrastructure and respond to operational alerts from the monitoring system, proactively identifying potential security issues.
We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems or related disciplines, and at least five years of experience in the following areas: Business continuity and disaster recovery, network forensics, security and risk frameworks, endpoint security, information systems auditing, vendor risk assessment, cyber risk assessment, network intrusion detection / prevention, identity and access management, IT lifecycle management.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical, consulting, and project management skills, as well as the ability to communicate technical subject matter effectively to multiple organizational layers.
