Senior Java Build Tools Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with expertise in build tools and automation. The ideal candidate will migrate our existing Ant-based build system to either Maven or Gradle, preserving the project structure.
The successful applicant will design and implement a comprehensive CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions, integrating it with the chosen build tool. Automated testing, code quality checks, and deployment stages will be implemented, along with pipeline triggers and notifications for effective collaboration.
This role involves contributing to the development and maintenance of Java-based applications, writing clean, efficient, and well-tested code. Strong communication skills are required to collaborate with the development team.
Requirements- Strong proficiency in Java programming language.
- In-depth knowledge of Ant build tool and experience in migrating to Maven or Gradle.
- Understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with tools like GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency in version control systems (Git).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with other build tools (Maven, Gradle).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker).
