We are seeking a seasoned Application Packaging Specialist to join our dynamic team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on the preparation, testing, and release of software within customer environments. The ideal candidate will support incident resolution, request fulfillment, and contribute to the day-to-day support of endpoint environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the right packaging approach for applications based on their specific needs.
  • Execute application packaging processes according to agreed-upon procedures and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Resolve incidents and requests related to packaged applications in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including change management, customers, application owners, and vendors as necessary.
  • Manage and support customer environments built with Windows client operating systems, Active Directory Group Policy, Microsoft Defender, SoftwareCentral, and the Microsoft Intune product family.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in preparing applications for deployment on Windows Operating Systems using setup commands/scripting and repackaging tools like InstallShield and RayPack.
  • Thorough knowledge of the MSI and MSIX packaging frameworks.
  • Intermediate-level PowerShell Scripting and basic-level VB scripting skills to automate application installations.
  • Operational knowledge of the Microsoft Intune product family, including Microsoft Configuration Manager, focusing on application creation/integration and deployment.
  • Possess excellent troubleshooting and logical reasoning skills.
  • Experience working in an ITIL-based operations environment using ITSM toolsets like ServiceNow.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience preparing applications for Citrix environments.
  • Micorosft Certifications such as MD-100: Windows 10, MD-101: Managing modern desktops, or MD-102: Endpoint Administrator.
  • Supporting multiple customer environments simultaneously.
  • Working in an international environment.
