Battery Management System Architect

Design and develop innovative BMS hardware systems for energy storage applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality modules/systems on-time.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Architect BMS HW systems for BESS domains ensuring state-of-the-art design, layout, EMI-EMC aspects, and regulatory compliance.
  • Deliver solutions to complex use cases in a customer-facing role, leveraging strong design knowledge of Digital circuit design, Analog circuit design, ADC, DACs, OP Amps, Micro-processors, Micro-controllers & DSPs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (EEE)
  • 12-14 years of experience in developing BMS for energy storage/ESS, including hands-on experience in architecting Power Electronics concepts for BMS.
  • Strong design knowledge of Analog Front End circuit design for Li-ion batteries and experience working with various Sensing Technologies.
  • Experience using simulation tools like P-Spice, Matlab, Mathcad, FMEA, and Root Cause Analysis.
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of Safety Regulatory standards like IEC61508, ISO26262.
  • Working knowledge of safety-critical features like charge control, thermal control, fault detection, and diagnostics.
