Mainframe Developer-Life Insurance Domain

We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer with expertise in Life Insurance domain to join our team. This role involves developing and maintaining mainframe-based applications, as well as supporting existing ones.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy mainframe applications
  • Maintain and support existing mainframe applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 7 years of experience in mainframe-based applications development and support
  • Strong knowledge of mainframe development tools such as COBOL, Easytrieve, CICS, VSAM, VSE DOS, Assembler
  • ZOS development experience is required
  • Knowledge of VSE tools such as SyncSort, IDCAMS, CECI, CEDF, FTP or any other third-party toolset
  • Client Server technology skills a plus
  • Working knowledge of systems development life cycle and use of structured methodologies and techniques
  • Waterfall and Agile experience desirable
Insurance Industry Experience:
  • Desirable to have experience in the insurance industry, specifically in life, health, and annuity
