Job Title: Apprentice Trainee

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Trainee to join our team at 2coms in Chennai. As an Apprentice Trainee, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring production machinery, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Machine Operator: Operate and monitor production machinery according to standard operating procedures (SOPs), adjust machine settings for optimal performance and quality output, and perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery.
  • Production Processes: Load raw materials into machines, remove finished products, follow production schedules, and meet daily targets.
  • Quality Control: Perform regular quality checks during production, report defects or inconsistencies in products, and ensure compliance with the company's quality standards.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required, and immediately report safety hazards or incidents to supervisors.
Working Conditions:
  • Shifts: 7 AM to 3 PM, 3 PM to 11 PM, and 11 PM to 7 AM.
  • Workweek: 6 days/week with 1 rolling day off.
  • Shift Allowance: ₹30 per night shift (up to 15 shifts/month).
Selection Process:
  • Interviews: Online.
  • Medical Test: Mandatory post-selection.
Requirements:
  • Qualification: ITI/Diploma (Passing out year: 2020 onwards).
  • Age: 18-25 years.
  • Gender: Male.
  • Height: Minimum 155 cm.
  • Weight: Minimum 50 kg.
  • Health Requirements: Candidates should not have had any surgery in the past. Blood and sugar levels should be normal.
  • Experience: Fresher.
  • Documents Required: Resume, 10th and 12th mark sheets, ITI/Diploma mark sheets and certificates, Provisional and Transfer certificates, Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Bank account details (can be opened at the plant if needed), and 5 Passport-size photos.
Benefits:
  • Stipend: ₹17,000 per month for Diploma holders and ₹16,000 per month for ITI holders.
  • Overtime: Occasionally available.
  • Food & Transport: Two meals per day provided at the plant (Vegetarian), ₹500 deducted monthly from the stipend for food and transportation, and eggs served 3 times a week.
  • Accommodation: 3-month accommodation for male trainees in hostels (3-4 people per room), distance from factory: 3-10 minutes depending on hostel location, and room facilities include beds and fans.
  • Retention Bonus: ₹5,000 every 6 months for the first 2 years and ₹10,000 every 6 months in the 3rd year.
  • Medical Insurance: ₹1 lakh coverage for medical insurance and ₹5 lakhs for Group Personal Accident Policy.
  • Other Benefits: Uniform and safety shoes provided free of cost, birthday chocolates and festival sweets/gifts, and 6-year training period.
