Sathguru is seeking a highly skilled Socio-Economic Expert to lead grant proposal development and socio-economic impact assessments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in analyzing and assessing the socio-economic impacts of various projects, policies, and initiatives. A strong background in economics, social sciences, and grant writing is essential, along with the ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Grant Proposal Development:

  • Develop and write grant proposals with a focus on socio-economic impact across sectors.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify funding opportunities and create compelling grant narratives.
  • Ensure proposals meet all requirements and deadlines set by funding agencies.

Socio-Economic Impact Assessments:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of the potential socio-economic impacts of interventions in awarded projects.
  • Utilize quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze data and generate insightful impact assessments.
  • Develop reports and presentations to communicate findings to project stakeholders and decision-makers.

Research and Analysis:

  • Stay updated on current socio-economic trends, policies, and best practices related to grant funding and impact assessments.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support evidence-based decision-making and policy development.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate socio-economic perspectives into project planning and evaluation.

Candidates Profile:

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Economics, Sociology, Public Policy, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in grant proposal development, with a track record of securing funding for socio-economic projects.
  • Expertise in socio-economic impact assessment methodologies, including cost-benefit analysis, social return on investment (SROI), and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, compliance standards, and ethical considerations in socio-economic research and grant writing.
  • A willingness to travel as and when required.
