Job Title: Merchandise Manager Womenswear RTW

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our Womenswear RTW collections from concept to delivery.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in sourcing, product development and merchandising with a strong network of suppliers and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing leadership: identifying evaluating and securing fabrics trims and production partners
  • Range planning: building seasonal line plans that balance creative vision with market demand
  • Buying and costing: negotiating with suppliers to achieve competitive costs while maintaining quality
  • Pricing and margins: developing pricing strategies that optimize profitability without compromising creativity
  • Product development: managing collection timelines from initial sampling to final production ensuring on time delivery
  • Market insights: tracking trends competitor assortments and customer preferences to inform decisions
  • Calendar management: overseeing collection calendars to ensure smooth flow across design sampling and production
  • Performance review: analyzing sales data and feedback to refine future collections
  • Cross team collaboration: partnering closely with Design Pattern and Production to bring collections from concept to customer

Requirements:

  • Degree in Fashion Management Buying Merchandising or related field
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in sourcing buying and merchandising luxury/RTW preferred
  • Strong sourcing network and expertise in textiles trims and production partners
  • Skilled in garment costing pricing and margin management
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities
  • Analytical detail oriented and confident with retail math
  • Comfortable with cross functional collaboration
  • Above all proactive and passionate about building a new language of Indian luxury
