We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing suppliers to be added to the supplier master database for duplication and gathering relevant data.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Receiving approval for suppliers to be added, modified or deleted from the database per Client's policy
- Capturing supplier set-up, maintenance, and adding and/or deletions and/or update notes in the system's audit trail
- Providing the requesting Client stakeholder with a list of questions needed for supplier certification and approval
- Communicating with suppliers to coordinate initial upload and updates, as needed, of financial information to be entered by the supplier through self-service supplier portal
- Coordinating with Client upon receipt of new supplier request to confirm that adding new supplier is aligned with category strategy
- Processing requests to cleanse and edit existing supplier data
- Periodically analyzing non-strategic, transactional spend to identify repetitive buys at non-strategic suppliers that should be potentially aggregated and included in strategic sourcing initiatives
- Aggregating and reporting on data collected from supporting the supplier data management and purchasing processes related to spend amounts and suppliers used
- Responding to internal Client inquiries related to spend and supplier data
- Recommending catalog adjustments to Client based on analysis
- Recommending new catalogs to Client based on analysis
- Implementing changes to hosted catalogs as requested or approved by Client

We are seeking a talented individual with a graduate degree and experience in the Procurement Function. You will also possess basic analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as stakeholder management capabilities.
