Job Overview:

We seek an accomplished professional with extensive experience in cloud solutions engineering and presales, particularly in the Cloud & Virtualization domain. This role involves designing and proposing innovative cloud architectures using open-source orchestrators like CloudStack, as well as virtualization and automation technologies in complex multi-tenant environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and propose cloud architecture using open-source cloud orchestrators, virtualization, and automation technology in a complex multi-tenant environment.
  • Engage with customers and prospects to demonstrate our solutions and effectively communicate key differentiators.
  • Assist customers with initial product evaluations and testing to set the stage for successful implementation.
  • Connect technical requirements of a project with business requirements, essential for the success of this position.
  • Respond to RFIs or RFPs, communicating product differentiators.
  • Prepare and deliver differentiated solution presentations or technical proposals.
  • Manage and/or deliver technical validation activities, including Proof Of Concepts.
  • Build relationships, enable, and work with partners to find and realize opportunities.

Required Skills:

  • Experience implementing cloud solutions in an enterprise environment.
  • Thorough understanding of cloud technologies and concepts, working knowledge of at least one leading private cloud platform like VCloud, OpenStack, CloudStack.
  • Thorough understanding of virtualization concepts of leading hypervisors (ESXi/KVM).
  • Thorough understanding of container technologies, especially Kubernetes.
  • Strong knowledge of network and application security, infrastructure hardening, security baselines, web server, and database security.
  • Knowledge of other enterprise products and solutions like Storage, Security, and Compute solutions.
  • Excellent written communication skills, experience preparing technical proposals, RFP responses, and BoQs.
  • High presentation skills and composure in front of all levels of technical and business customers or prospects.
  • Ability to work within a dynamic and fast-paced international environment.
  • Proven experience managing Proof Of Concept activities for customers in the Cloud Domain.
  • Takes responsibility for projects and strategic initiatives, striving for standardization and simplification in all aspects of work.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant bachelor's degree.
