Brief Description about the role:

We are working on developing state-of-the-art automated driving systems for global deployment. As part of our team, your task will be to support the development of future ADAS system generations, enabling vehicles to progress towards full autonomous driving by 2030.

To achieve this vision, we focus on specific software functionalities developments to build in-house software modules, maximizing component reusability and robustness in the future landscape of autonomous driving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake various tasks and work in multiple-disciplinary teams to mentor junior SW engineers and clearly communicate findings through presentations and reporting.
  • Understand requirements, come up with high-level design, and decompose them into detailed design.
  • Mentor junior software developers on design patterns, development best practices, and DevOps trade-offs.
  • Create detailed software designs and support their implementation in software and API interfaces required from internal teams.
  • Develop complex software to satisfy design objectives.
  • Clearly understand API design for extensibility and portability of software across multiple implementations.
  • Liaise with the wider global teams within our organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience with a minimum of 3 years of experience in application design and development.
  • Should have worked in a complex automotive project owning responsibility for low-level design, implementation, and validation.
  • Experience in design and development of software solutions in AUTOSAR.
  • Hands-on experience in programming languages like C/C++.
  • Knowledge of Agile SW development process.
  • Hands-on experience in developing systems based on various IPC mechanisms.
  • Good knowledge of Adaptive AUTOSAR-based Communication and Diagnostic stack.
  • Experience in Automotive SW middleware platforms.
  • Strong understanding of software design and architectural patterns.
  • Good understanding of ISO26262.
