Senior Software Quality Assurance Expert

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Software Quality Assurance Expert to join our team.

In this key role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality of our software products by developing and executing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, mobile, and API-based applications.

You will perform manual and automated testing to validate functionality, performance, and scalability, identify, document, and track bugs, defects, and performance issues using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or Trello.

Closely collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to refine requirements and define test scenarios.

Perform different types of testing (regression, API, etc.) to ensure compliance with software development and testing standards.

Analyze test results and provide detailed reports with actionable insights to drive quality throughout the SDLC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts
  • Perform manual and automated testing to validate functionality, performance, and scalability
  • Identify, document, and track bugs, defects, and performance issues
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts
  • Perform different types of testing to ensure compliance with software development and testing standards
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 4+ years of professional experience in software testing
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC
  • Hands-on expertise in manual testing, test automation, and API testing
  • Proficiency in SQL queries for database validation
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in mobile application testing
  • Relevant certifications in Quality Assurance are a plus
