Market Research Analyst Job Description

 

The role of a Market Research Analyst involves conducting market research studies over the phone in different geographies. This is achieved through various methodologies, including CATI (Computer Assisted Telephonic Interview) and CAWI (Computer Assisted Web Interview). The analyst must conduct secondary research as per project requirements, identifying the best source of data to build a sample for conducting surveys.

 

Key responsibilities include extracting information from different sources, such as company websites and professional social networking sites. The analyst will work on MS-Excel to maintain and update databases and track project performance. They must also support team building and interdepartmental relations, developing processes and communication styles that enhance cooperation while serving the needs and goals of each department.

 

Additionally, the Market Research Analyst will attend project meetings and participate in team-building events. They will create and maintain efficient and effective processes that ensure success and carry out any other duties assigned by the line manager.
