Silicon Design Engineer

  • This position will provide you with an opportunity to work on cutting-edge programmable logic based silicon designs by delivering complex IP solutions for multiple market segments.
  • You will work as part of a team responsible for all phases of product development including product definition and delivery.
  • Your key responsibilities will include participating in most of the phases of the product development cycle from new product exploration, architecture through implementation, prototyping, validation and support.

You will be expected to understand u-Architecture definition for an individual IPs or IP subsystems and design and develop front-end RTL IPs or do IP integration.

  • You must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and be willing to learn and ready to take on problems.
  • You should have excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with other engineers located in different sites/timezones.
  • You must have a passion for modern, complex hardware and IP architecture, digital design, and verification in general.

You will be working with stakeholders such as verification and will be required to participate in technical reviews of IP design.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience is required.
  • Exposure to Silicon IP development process, methodologies, Design for Test methodologies.
  • Minimum experience with Verilog RTL design, VCS simulation tool, Perl/Shell scripting through mini projects.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, a Master Degree or equivalent experience is required.
