Full-Time Workday HCM Professional

This is a 2-month consultancy to provide day-to-day functional support for Workday, focusing on user assistance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist in training preparation and documentation for HR users and hiring managers.
  2. Provide readiness input to ensure smooth transition into go-live.
  3. Review and validate existing user manuals by testing them against workflows, ensuring accuracy.
  4. Provide readiness input to confirm HR preparedness.
Post-Go-Live Stabilization & Optimization (60%)
  1. Act as the functional expert for Workday Core HCM, Compensation, Absence, and Benefits, supporting adoption and optimization post-launch.
  2. Troubleshoot issues and ensure minimal disruption to operations.
  3. Translate Workday system language into clear business terminology for stakeholders.
  4. Advise on quick wins and design improvements for better user experience.
Enablement & Collaboration (20%)
  1. Maintain support documentation, knowledge articles, and training materials.
  2. Deliver training, guidance, and knowledge transfer to HR staff.
  3. Build team capability to independently manage processes in Workday.
  4. Collaborate across global time zones to support consistency in adoption and usage.
Requirements
  • Educational background in HR, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Workday HCM certification or module training is strongly preferred.
Experience
  • Hands-on involvement in implementation/training preparation and post-go-live support for at least two large high matrixed organizations.
  • Strong understanding of HCM business processes (hire-to-retire lifecycle, compensation, benefits, absence).
  • Familiarity with data validation, security roles, and compliance processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ability to operate independently in moderately complex situations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
