Network Security Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Specialist to manage our Palo Alto Firewall and Panorama. This is a key role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work effectively with clients.

  • This position involves designing, building, and managing the security infrastructure of information technology (IT) systems.
  • Responsibilities include installing hardware, configuring firewalls, setting up virtual private networks (VPNs), and adding upgrades.
  • Cyber Security engineers engage with clients, relaying information about the project and troubleshooting all issues discovered.

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • Good understanding in basic routing and switching concepts.
  • Expertise in remote infrastructure management for network.
  • Hands-on experience in configuration and troubleshooting of Palo – Alto, Fortinet, Checkpoint firewalls, or other network security technologies.
  • Ability to perform day-to-day firewall activities like administration, management, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Good knowledge on IOS upgrades and software strategies.
  • Hands-on experience in configuring URL filtering, file blocking, and security profiles in Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Reviewing network security threat logs for intrusions and compromises and providing solutions.
  • Good knowledge on authentication methods like radius & tacacs.
