Biology Researcher Opportunity

Turing is seeking PhD-level researchers in biology to test the reasoning capabilities of large language models. As a researcher, you will create biology problems, analyze model responses, and identify gaps in logic or understanding.

This role involves evaluating the logic behind researcher claims about immune signaling, such as IL-2 promoting T cell proliferation and IFN-gamma activating macrophages. You will also review a student's proposed strategy for studying plant stress genes, including CRISPR knockouts and qPCR for expression analysis.

Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in or have completed a Ph.D. or Postdoctoral in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback with examples.
  • Strong written communication, especially in remote settings.
  • Comfortable working independently, with stable computer and internet access.
