Electrical Systems Maintenance Technician

This is a technical role that focuses on the operation and maintenance of solar power plants. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, monitoring plant performance, and rectifying faults in coordination with the technical team.

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in the electrical field, preferably in solar power plant O&M. Additionally, they should possess basic computer literacy and the ability to operate CMMS and SCADA systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance and attend to equipment breakdowns to reduce plant downtime.
  • Conduct visual inspections and equipment status checks using SCADA systems.
  • Monitor inverter performance and other key plant components for optimal output.
  • Prepare daily logbooks and maintain accurate records of all activities, faults, and maintenance work.
  • Support in plant performance analysis and implement corrective actions for performance optimization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ITI Electrical Technician Certificate or Equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years in the electrical field.
  • At least 1 year in Solar Power Plant O&M.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Ability to operate CMMS and SCADA systems.
