Print Media Design Team Lead

This role is responsible for managing the operations of a graphic design and quality control team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of designers and QAs to create production ready assets for digital and print media.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment that promotes innovation.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in graphic design, print media, leadership, and organizational abilities.

Project Management:
  • Oversee the production process for all print media materials.
  • Ensure all design projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment on design projects.
Quality Assurance:
  • Implement rigorous quality control processes.
  • Conduct regular sample quality checks to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications.
  • Address any design discrepancies or quality issues promptly.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to maintain quality standards.
Operational Efficiency:
  • Create templates and style guides as required for new projects.
  • Develop strategic design operations plans to enhance productivity, cost-effectiveness, and overall project success.
  • Help execute standardized workflows and processes for print media design projects.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and technologies.
  • Must have good conceptualization skills and extensive experience in Print-media design.
  • Flexibility to working in shifts for critical deliverables.
  • Track KPIs for design operations, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Act as a primary point of contact for design-related inquiries and requests.
  • Effective English communication skills are essential for discussing designs with customers.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 6-7 years of experience in graphic design and print media, with experience in creating promotional content.
  • Strong understanding of print media design principles and production processes.
  • Expertise in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
