The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing tax-related matters, encompassing Indirect Tax Laws, Appeals, Representations before various forums, and Tax Advisory services pertaining to GST, Customs, Service Tax, VAT, and Excise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering trust and delivering unparalleled service as a Trusted Business Advisor.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across the business unit to provide comprehensive services to key accounts.

Strategic Acumen:

  • Provide valuable insights on global trends, emerging industry issues, and best practices on client assignments.
  • Proactively alert clients to changes in the business environment that may impact their interests.

Business Development:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior-level clients, expanding our client base through new wins and conversions.
  • Leverage internal and external networks to grow our business.

Leadership & Teamwork:

  • Assume a leadership role when necessary, fostering a high-performance team culture.
  • Work effectively in cross-service-line engagements and serve as a role model, mentor, and coach.
  • Contribute to talent acquisition by identifying and referring high-quality candidates.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional Communication and Drafting Skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Indirect Tax laws and related regulations.
  • Strong Analytical and Researching skills.
  • Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented.

  • Representation before judicial forums.
  • Innovative and creative thinking.

Experience and Education:

  • CA or Law Graduate from a reputable institution with a strong academic record.
  • 4-7 years of post-qualification experience in Indirect Tax Litigation or Advisory.
