About the Role:

We are inviting applications for the position of Cloud Engineering Lead - AWS Specialist at Genpact.

About the Job:

As a Cloud Engineering Lead - AWS Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining AWS Cloud Services in accordance with Security and Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Maintain AWS Cloud Services: Ensure that AWS Cloud Services are developed and maintained in accordance with Security and Standards.
  • Write Solution Design Document: Create a solution design document that outlines the architecture and implementation of AWS Cloud Services.
  • Presentation and Review: Present the solution design document to the Architecture Review Council for review and approval.
  • Design for High Availability and Security: Design the architecture for high availability and security-first approach.
  • Design for Sizing and Scalability: Design the architecture for sizing and scalability.
  • Remediate Deficiencies: Remediate any availability, regulatory, or performance-related operational deficiencies.
  • Notify Client: Notify the client of changes to and adoptions of new cloud technology.
  • Stay Current with Cloud Technology: Remain current in the knowledge and use of cloud technology, virtualization, compute, storage, and management products.
  • Experience and Skills:
    • Good Experience in Infrastructure and Operations: Good experience in infrastructure and operations.
    • Good Experience in Cloud Architecture and Engineering Services: Good experience in cloud architecture and engineering services.
    • Hands-on Experience with AWS Cloud Native Services: Hands-on experience with AWS cloud native services.
    • Hands-on Experience with AWS Container Services: Hands-on experience with AWS container services.
    • Experience with Agile and DevOps Concepts: Experience with agile and DevOps concepts.
    • Strong Communication and Written Skills: Strong communication and written skills.
    • Experience Creating Technical Architecture Documentation: Experience creating technical architecture documentation.
    • Hands-on Experience Architecting and Designing Solutions on AWS: Hands-on experience architecting and designing solutions on AWS.
    • Knowledge of Security Controls for the Public Cloud: Knowledge of security controls for the public cloud.
    • Knowledge of Linux and Windows Containers: Knowledge of Linux and Windows containers.
    • Experience with Open-Source Cloud and Configuration Management Tools: Experience with open-source cloud and configuration management tools.
    • Experience with Alternate Cloud Providers: Experience with alternate cloud providers.
    • Experience in the Manufacturing Industry: Experience in the manufacturing industry.
    • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree.
    • Knowledge of AWS Products and Services: Knowledge of AWS products and services.
