Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Reliability Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing monitoring solutions and alerting mechanisms to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of applications and services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and maintaining monitoring solutions and alerting mechanisms for infrastructure, application performance, and user experience metrics.
  • Implementing automation tools and processes to automate routine tasks, scale infrastructure, and ensure seamless deployments, updates, and rollbacks with minimal user impact.
  • Ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of applications and services.
  • Leading incident response efforts for incidents, including identification, triage, resolution, and post-incident analysis.
  • Conducting capacity planning, performance tuning, and resource optimization for environments.
  • Collaborating with security teams to implement security best practices and ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Managing deployment pipelines, release processes, and configuration management for app deployments.
  • Identifying areas for improvement in reliability, performance, and efficiency through data analysis and driving initiatives to enhance system reliability and operational efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proficient in development technologies, architectures, and platforms.
  • Experience in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools and logging frameworks.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and proficiency in scripting languages and automation tools.
  • Expertise in setting up monitoring solutions and creating dashboards to monitor system performance.
