Cloud Solutions Engineer

We seek an experienced Cloud Solutions Engineer with 8+ years of experience in solutions engineering and 7+ years in presales, specializing in cloud & virtualization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and propose cloud architecture using open-source cloud orchestrators like CloudStack, Virtualization, and automation technology in complex multi-tenant environments.
  • Engage with customers and prospects to demonstrate our cloud solutions, effectively communicating key differentiators.
  • Assist customers with initial product evaluations and testing to set the stage for successful implementation.
  • Connect technical project requirements to business needs, ensuring this position's success.
  • Respond to RFIs or RFPs, highlighting product differentiators.
  • Prepare and deliver solution presentations or technical proposals that differentiate us.
  • Manage or deliver technical validation activities, including Proof Of Concepts.
  • Build relationships with partners to find and realize opportunities.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Experience implementing cloud solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Thorough understanding of cloud technologies and concepts, plus working knowledge of leading private cloud platforms (e.g., VCloud, OpenStack, CloudStack).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of virtualization concepts from leading hypervisors (ESXi/KVM).
  • Strong understanding of container technologies, especially Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of network and application security, infrastructure hardening, web server, and database security.
  • Excellent written communication skills, experience with technical proposals, RFP responses, and BoQs.
  • High-level presentation skills and composure in front of technical and business audiences.
  • Ability to work in dynamic international environments and manage Proof Of Concept activities for customers.
  • Take responsibility for projects and strategic initiatives, striving for standardization and simplification.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant bachelor's degree.
